Caught on the red-light camera.

The red light cameras at the traffic lights junctions in Singapore looks like this.



If I am not mistaken, they are captured on film and someone has to physically retrieve the films, then the summons are sent to those who beat the red lights.

Read somewhere that the traffic police is calling for a tender to wire up all the cameras so that the images can be stored centrally. (And summons can be sent out quickly too! haha..)

Do they look similar from where you come from?
Any of you got caught by these cameras before? haha....

  1. We don't have them in Wichita, Ks. I've seen something like this in Germany, though. Wonder how many times someone gets the idea to cover the camera?

  2. The cameras are covered in those boxes to protect from the weather I think.

    Here in Singapore, there are warnings that the cameras are in operation too! haha...
