This is the bus park of one of the smaller bus interchanges in Singapore. It is the Kent Ridge Bus Interchange. It only has a few routes.
Some other bus interchanges in Singapore are bigger, and some have air conditioned waiting areas too.
International friends, how does the bus interchanges in your city look like?
None that I've seen are as attractive as your photo with green grass and a canopy of trees. Buses all look to be in great shape. Our interchanges seem to be dominated by concrete. Happy Sunday to you!!
ReplyDeleteJust like Kate said, unfortunately. I wish we had something like that here, very nice. Singapore's infrastructure is tremendous!
ReplyDeleteI don't think we have a lot of bus interchanges/depots in NYC because of security reasons.
ReplyDeleteBut I doubt they are as clean or orderly as the ones in Singapore.
It was lovely meeting you at the floggers dinner. I hope to see you next year!

Can't help wondering, what is the floggers dinner?

what colorful buses! My BIL lives in Singapore and he was in Madison WI with us this weekend and we saw lovely pictures of the city.
ReplyDeleteThe buses look clean and the colors are interesting!
ReplyDeleteGreat buses. Love the colours and the bus station looks so clean, but then Singapore is probably the cleanest city I've ever had the pleasure to visit. You have tough laws on dropping rubbish, I know. Quite right too!
