This is the other version that is more satisfying! Ice Kachang.
Ice Shavings with lots of different toppings. Red Beans, Sweet Corn Cream and many other hidden gems under.

ReplyDeleteoh yes, I want to test well, I adore the desserts ;O)
Looks fantastic...but corn and beans for dessert? Are you sure it taste good?
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm a "kepo" too and would like to comment ;)
ReplyDeleteI really missed this stuff a lot!
Left Singapore about 7 years ago, hope one day would come to visit my second surrogate country.
And... for sure would grab this ice kachang first!!!
red beans and corn! Ha! before I read your commentary I thought that was a dessert with cherries and pineapples! lol :)
ReplyDeleteWe used to have a manual ice machine and every day we used to shave ice in the summer - it was my job. Mom loves the sweet beans and green tea powder - I loved it with anything sweet and cold, including these commercial syrups full of articifial sweeteners, flavours and colors. Ahhh, the good old 70's.
ReplyDeleteI like this one a lot. We call it 'Pat-bingsu(氷水)', literally meaning red bean sherbet.
ReplyDeleteI have not tried this...but I would!
ReplyDeleteWe have these at Malaysian restaurants. We call them ABC - Air Batu Kacang.
