Why was Victoria Concert Hall built?

Do you know why?
Well, the answer is revealed here.

This building is also where the organ pipes picture was taken.

I just realise that this building is way way way older than I am!!

  3. Thank goodness; something on here is older than I am! The plaque looks to be quite rich in material. Is it copper?

  5. I think it was for Swettenham more than Queen Vic.

Anyway, your idea of the S'porean DPs or the Regional meeting is a great idea! I met Raymond when we both started. Now that S'pore has 3 of you, I'll come over and we can play Mahjong. If Lisi pops by from HK, even better!

Whatever it is, I'm in S'pore again on the 8th Dec. Ta-Da!

  10. Thanks everyone for visiting over the weekend! Weekend's almost over now...

Yup, I think most of us will not be as old as the plaque. :-)

Edwin, it was actually Raymond who suggested that Spore DP should meet. I added the Regional DP meet. haha... We should arrange and coincide it with your visit. :-)
