Forgive me for I have sinned - Godiva Chocolatier

How many times have you fallen into temptation?

The dark brown colour of each individually crafted chocolates, with sophisticated designs, both in shape and toppings, the smell, the... I better stop.

Colleagues and I were walking past Godiva Chocolatier and we just could not resist and went in and each of us took a Dark Chocolate Shake each. Each thick, chocolatety and cold sip simply rejunivates and clears the clogged arteries. (Dark Chocs are good for the heart right?)

When was the last time you got tempted by something?

last thing I was tempted by was chocolate as well. I love dark chocolate. right now my favorite is the lindt 85% cocoa bar (I tried the 99% bar but it was too much).

  3. In that case I am sinning everyday too. My current temptation are those transparent packets of sambal tapioca chips. High in carbs and sugar and oil. Truly sinful!

  4. I'm afraid I would have a hard time passing that place by without giving in to temptation.

The last temptation I gave in to was yesterday when I couldn't resist stopping by a casino. In this case the outcome was good though because I came home with $340 more than I went with.

  5. Dark chocolates are the best in taste. not sure about being good for the heart. I've heard thought they are a healthier choice then the normal chocolate cos of the sugar content i suppose. See the best finnish dark choc in my blog soon.

I recommend Leonidas! Can't remember where has it relocated to, used to have one at City Link Mall.

The one with hazel nut filling (gold wrapping) is heaven ...

  13. I think there's a Leonidas at the Esplanade Mall. I can't be sure though because I keep mixing up the different chocolate outlets. They are everywhere these days! Sort of like the bubble tea phenomenon.

And yes, dark chocolate is the healthiest type of chocolate. But that doesn't mean it's health food! It is still sinful and calorie-rich and fattening! My favorite kind of chocolate is milk chocolate though. Creamy, delicious, chocolatey goodness!

  14. Leonidas, there used to be one at Raffles City. There's a cafe there and they sell Leonidas chocolates. Oooo the thought of it just makes me wanna bite into one now!

Guess what. I think I might be getting some Thorntons Chocs from UK in 2 weeks time!

If only I can taste the Finnish Dark Chocolates from Kaa too!
