It's the 1st of the month again, and it's the Daily Photo Theme Day. The theme for this month is Feet. This is an old photo I pulled out from my archives.
Chicken Feet! A delicacy that is enjoyed by many here in Singapore. (And disgusted by an equal number of people too! LOL)

Here in Australia we only eat chicken feet in Chinese restaurants usually at Yum Cha. These look as though they have been honeyed.

ReplyDeleteI used to love it when I was a child, my grandma cooked them really deliciously...then only eat them at the Teochew Porridge place! :) I love this dim sum version also and this photo is fantastic and looked really delicious.

Yes, you get chicken feet and the head, neck,gizzards, and liver when you buy a fresh chicken here. I use some of the above for soup. Bibi loves the smoked chicken feet that my pet shop sells for dogs!
ReplyDeleteChicken feet? I believe people in the U.S. eat every part of the chicken except the feet! I didn't know there was any meat on them.

ReplyDeleteI must be a wierd chinese...lol. The only legs I eat must be the frog legs. I am too scared to eat any chicken, duck or even the pig's feet/legs...yucks!
