Human Pyramid

I did not go near enough to look at what the person who design this call it.



I nickname it human pyramid. Reminds me of a Bible Story that human who tried to climb to the skies and God confused everyone by making them speak different languages.

Carousel or Merry-go-round

Some call it a Carousel, others call it Merry-go-round.



Whatever you call it, the little ones on it sure don't care and just want to enjoy themselves ;-)

Cadbury Ferris Wheel

The bigger wheel (or the elder sister) at Marina Centre is the world's largest.

This little sister, the Cadbury ferris wheel is only 25 metre high and it's located inside a mall! So rain or shine, you can ride in it!



I did not know it existed until only a few weeks ago.
It's located at Downtown East.

Golden Bridge at Shenton Way

I think it might be one of the ugliest structure on Shenton Way. lol...



It's a bridge over Shenton Way that has mini eating stalls inside.



Anyone know why it's called Golden Bridge? It's not golden at all?

National Stadium....

Took this photo from the 17th floor of one of the tower block in Suntec City.
That's the National Stadium that's suppose to be demolished.



Few year's time, this whole area will be totally different. A new Sports Hub will be here.

Merlion covered....

The shy merlion is covered up for the time being. Most of you should have read about it. The Merlion was struck by lighting about two weeks ago.

I walked past this van with this advert and I thought it looked weird. A lady eating from a can, then I saw the word pet food.

Sorry, I felt a big nauseous. LOL



I know that petfood can be eaten by humans. But has any of you shared say animal food with your animal? ;-)

Was standing on the platform of the Tanah Merah MRT Interchange. Saw 3 big numbers on the wall of the housing blocks.




Those numbers are so huge!
Do you realise that they are two floors high? Look carefully.

Interesting Recycling Bins at Changi Airport

Was at the airport yesterday and saw these recycling bins.



Definitely not the old boring bins.

NUS Arts Festival Banner

I think these banners are so eye catching.



Especially the ones that are vertical. There are many more designs. The one with the man blowing the morning glory horn is the one I like most.

Chang's Swallow Restaurant

I was having lunch and decided to look up. I have not seen sign boards like this for a long time. Look at the two things that's holding the signboard up. It must be so antique!



No, this place does not sell anything with swallow. Anyone know the history?

Some said that this sign has been here since 1910s. If it's true, that's a long long time ago. I am sure many many of you have taken a photo of this sign too.

Does it mean this might be the most photographed sign in Singapore? haha...

New building at Victoria Street - Iluma at Bugis

I thought this new building look rather interesting.



I have no idea what it is called, what it's for, etc..
I think it's a hotel though. Anyone knows? (It's at Victoria Street)

This building's name is Iluma.
There's a modern cinema in it too, called Filmgarde (www.filmgarde.com.sg)

Last Saturday morning, it was very very very early morning, I happen to read my email and found out from Michael and Eric are here. They are here in transit to New Zealand and they have a few hours to spare. Would I want to meet up? Sure!

I sms Edwin from Kuala Lumpur Daily Photo because I know he's based in Singapore to perform. No reply... he most probably is sleeping like everyone else. But when he woke up, he called me and we arranged to meet.



This is Edwin and Eric posing in front of the poster of the show Edwin's performing in. I watched it on Sunday and it was quite good. If you are in Singapore you should catch it. Eric's finger is pointing at the sign that says, "For Adults and Big Children over 16 only". :-)
