We saw that they now have escalators that directly goes up to the 2nd storey and also the 3rd storey from the 1st storey. (aka ground floor in many countries).
I guess they are trying to make it easier for people who knows where they want to go, to get there quicker. ;-)
Still consider short compare to the escalator in Time Square, Hong Kong. :)
