Another tourist attraction in Singapore. A 'beast' that can travel on the roads and also on water. Caught this few weeks ago just before the F1 race with all the barricades around.
I have been wanting to try this ride. Still looking for the weekend that I am free. :-)
What an interesting vehicle and appropriately named!
ReplyDeleteTook this ride with my wife when i were in Gold Coast for our honeymoon in 2002 :) Fun :)
ReplyDeleteI've seen this in Boston and Philadelphia. I think they call it the DUCK here. :-)
ReplyDeleteIf you ever get the chance to ride around in one of these in the middle of the ocean do it because they bob around worse than a cork. And the get swamped easily and sink to the bottom of the Pacific like a stone. They had one here for rides and it sunk in the river once but people were not drowned.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in the Army they were called, "Ducks" and soldiers said they were unsafe in a puddle of water.
We have one of those here in Seattle!!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like fun! Love the paint job!
ReplyDeletea vehicle too funny
ReplyDeleteI am a big child i can take a place
I sat the ducktours few months back. Tell them you are Singaporean to get discount. I paid only about $16+ instead of $33. Not sure if the promotion is still on for the discount. :)
