This is one of the many big holes you can find in Singapore now. The on-going construction of the "Circle Line" mass rapid transit.
I would like to congratulate one colleague who just given birth yesterday. We visited her today at the hospital. Mother and baby's well and the baby is so cute.
We dig and dig and dig deep big holes all over Singapore. It's amazing why Singapore hasn't sunken despite all this digging that has been going on for decades.
ReplyDeletemaybe all the concrete in the ground is making it very stable! LOL
ReplyDeleteFirst, my apologies for a bit of a cut and paste commenting. I have been doing the rounds via Bloglines and looking at all the pictures from my favourite photo blogs, but haven’t been leaving comments. Generally, I try to comment every three or so days (I know how good it is for ‘morale’ to know that someone is out there appreciating them), but after the birth of my second son, I am a bit knackered to think up something witty and insightful on the hop. Thus the resort to Control+C and Control+P!
ReplyDeleteI did like the confluence of circumstances in your post today and my world this week though.

The engineers must be good:)
ReplyDeleteLooks like quite a construction boom here in Singapore with so many holes dug up.
ReplyDeleteNice top view shot :-)
