blue.. the colour of the singapore flyer...

The Singapore Flyer's officially opening is today. Yes, it has been open to the public since March 1, but there's always the "official opening" thingy.

I read in the newspaper today that it is also the world's largest observation wheel.

Here's a very different view of the wheel. The blue hues of the wheel looks like a fire wheel from a far.

Click here to view the photos I have taken of the wheel since it was just a skeleton here.

  2. The reason the train was empty too was because it was heading towards the kampung. The city bound train are always packed.

I have a reverse commute because I live in the city and commute to the kampung for work. Most people come from the kampung to the city.

  3. I heard about this on the news today, and how it is bigger than the one we have in the UK, in London :(

Thanks for showing it lit up. It looks cool. I like the progress pictures too!

  4. on dirait un vrai cercle de feu (sauf la couleur) que l'on trouve pour les cascadeurs en motos dans les cirques

It looks like a real circle of fire (except colour) that are found in the motorcycle stunt in circuses

  5. how cool?
I thought it was an eclipse as well.
The scale of this thing must be quite large, then.

Each of those blips is a compartment?
So 1/4 of the circle equals 7 compartments, making 28 compartments (or whatever you call them) in all.
