Definition of Sambal in Wikipedia.
Sotong = squid in the Malay Language.
Have you tried this? Can you get this in the city that you are living in?

Wow!!! Those sotongs are very tempting looking! Must have tasted very good, yah! I love spicy food, especially those with birds eye chilly (cili padi) added!!!
Not sambal sotongs but I just had curry duck and claypot today. :) Forgot to take a photo of the food but managed to take the restaurant.
