this year they started a program for separating the garbage . in the neighborhoods they put different bins for paper , plastic , glass , food . also on november 3 was the day when you could've take out your old electricals / electronics , put them in front of the building and they collected everything
I am amazed at the amount of stuff recycled every week, just in our neighborhood. If we would all "reduce, reuse, recycle", the planet would be much better off. Emphasis on reduce, esp. in wealthier countries.
Recycling is good! In Ioannina we recycle paper,glass,aluminium and batteries! Beautiful photo, beautiful cristmas decoration!

ReplyDeleteIt is required by law for us to recycle paper, plastic, glass and aluminium products in NYC.
ReplyDeleteThere is a blue trash can for plastic, glass and aluminium products and a green trash can for paper products on each floor of my apartment.
