This was funny. Saw it few days ago on a SBS Transit bus.
No SUGAR? Afraid that it will attract ants?
Oh yes, if you have sharp eyes, take a look at the EZ link reader on this bus, its the SBS Transit colour!
(psst.. it's a soft drink advert, you can guess which one it is... no not Anything or Whatever haha... )
Pepsi Max :P
ReplyDeleteI like your photograph and your explanation. Very good.
ReplyDeleteThis is the second episode of the Robin feeding the babies. Mom had her head down a throat today.
*lol* you r right! here is only sign of no food (french fries paper bag) or/and ice cream cone and of course NO SMOKING
ReplyDeleteseems like all no food signs are ONLY fast food???
I assume everyone obeys the law. In the NYC metro subways & buses, no drinks or food are allowed either but everyone takes them in.
ReplyDeletewaouh surprenant (et amusant) et on sait pourquoi le sucre est interdit ?
ReplyDeletewaouh surprising (and amusing) and one know why sugar is prohibited?
it's crazy if they gonna say NO in such a manner to SUGAR...Not a very good way to portray Singapore I guess. But since this is an advertisement, I would agree it's rather creative!:)
ReplyDeleteI love the way durians are singled out - surely they would be covered in the no eating! Or can't you even carry them ? I understand entirley why - phoooooo!
ReplyDeleteImaginative ad!
I was stunned for awhile here.
ReplyDeleteThought that sugar was banned on board the bus but the local news didn't report on it.
I think you're in right: it's against ants. Then, you know, in Singapore chewing gum is prohibited so...
ReplyDeleteSugar not allowed?That means,no sweets!Kejam.

It's interesting to see what is important in different localities. No sugar? Meaning no food!
ReplyDeleteHave linked back to this from a bus post on Hyde DP today
