Hippo Tours - Animals on the loose?

First, Happy Mother's Day to all mums viewing this site.
(especially my mummy who also visits)

There's a open roof bus tour in Singapore, and its called the Hippo Tour.

I have yet to ride on this bus thingy. But I have ride on those that tour Paris.

Do you realise that for tourist attraction in cities that you live in, most people have not tried it yet? Sis and I said we going to pretend to be tourist one of these weekend.

For Singapore residents, have you taken this ride before?

  2. Keropok, you're sooooo right!
But I tell you one thing, it's really funny to take a tourist day in your own city, you will enjoy it a lot!... and I do it often! ;)

  3. I suppose it would be fun to take a tourist bus ride in your own city to see what is featured and what isn't. It would also be a good way to find new things for you to photograph.

I have celebrated this day, Mother's Day in my country, with a magazine cover for my wife. I hope you can see it.

  4. So true - you never go on your own.

The Sydney tour buses spend the night at a depot very near my house, and I see them leave in the morning. Sometimes I feel VERY tempted to ask if I can hitch a ride to the city on one!

  8. We have an old red London double decker for the tourist, and for the last 18 months, I've been telling myself I'll get on it, but haven't yet. That might be a nice Theme day theme, though I don't know if every place has it...

  9. I will definitely have to try this bus when/if I get to Singapore. My trip to Asia is postponed to July. No sure if I will get to stop in Singapore but I will definitely let you know as soon as I have confirmation.
