Sneaking into the Backstage
Yesterday you saw how the puppets are manipulated by 2 humans. Well, here's a backstage peek. These two ladies are the ones in charge. They are also the one telling the stories.

merci pour ce post, je me verrais bien assis avec les enfants. j'adore aller au jardin du luxembourg et voir le theatre de guignol. souvent un des rares adultes entoures d'enfants.

ReplyDeleteI love this series on the traditional Chinese puppet show. It's beautiful and it's lovely to get all aspects of it from different angles. Did you need special permission to go backstage?
