Hokkien Puppet Show in Chinatown
One of the interesting thing I saw at Chinatown was this puppet show. It was all in Hokkien (a mandarin dialect). The pupputeers sure were enjoying themselves, it could be heard thru their voices.

Foreign talents? Hard to imagine such tradition is still around in Sgp.

the 'chun' uniquely singapore logo looks good!:) personally i think they should keep these traditions and cultural stuff in singapore...it makes the city more colourful and interesting to explore

ReplyDeleteHokkien is not a Mandarin dialect neh! That's like saying English is a Spanish dialect.
