Clothes hanging for all to view...

I see many interesting response from yesterday's post. Thanks to those who dropped comments. If you are wondering how it feels to be right under the poles of yesterday's photo. Here it is...

Scary huh... so many floors and so many poles.

Look at that super long pole. I think that household must have lots of clothes that they installed a super long pole with some pulley system!!! (Maybe like Denton, hanging out all the diapers. haha.)

Sally and Olivier said that their cities have by laws that prohibits hanging of clothing outside their houses. Any other cities that have such prohibitions?

Well, there's thousand and one things good to air clothes under the sun, eg do not waste electricity (eco friendly), sun kills the germs on clothing, prolongs the life of clothing, free, etc. But... Keropokman still using the dryer. In fact, as I am typing this now, my clothing are turning in the dryer. (There's no midnite sun in Singapore. haha...) Yesterday's posting was also done when my clothing are in the dryer.

Just remembered, when I was growing up, we used to hang all the curtains all along the fences of the house. When it rains, all the children will run out and quickly collect them back into the house. :-) Yeah, I think my mum read this blogs as well, she might be smiling now.

Um...I think my neck even hurts when I see this photo. how about your neck??
    wonderful perspective!!!

Keep going on the way to dry clothes. Actually I like any natural things, including save the energy. But in the big city I understand why the government made such kind of prohibitions. Even in Shanghai, I also hope the government could have some regulations so that we could have a cleaner city.

    have a nice friday~~

  2. No luxury of the sun here now and the soon to come winter. Got used to 'dryer' life here. But in summer.. about 2 mths of good sunny weather we have the clothes drying out in the balcony. No poles or pulley system here. Oh those without a washing machine or dryer are able to make use of the apartment building washing machine and dryers and even a room for drying. The use of the washing machine costs while the rest are free.

  3. great angle! It looks kind of like your standing on a ship.

  4. I like this angle better than yesterday's photo. This one seems more dramatic. I think it's good the way you have it tilted. It probably would not have looked so good if it were straight.
