All things Tofu...

What do you picture when you hear the word tofu? Well, below are 2 different kinds of tofu I had today. Cold Tofu and Tartofu, both at a Japanese Restaurant for lunch.

The inside of it, sorry my photography's bad today, it is not focused correctly.

Lunch was at Starhub Centre, at Waraku Japanese Restaurant. Shall not tempt you all with food of shashimi, etc today. (ah yes, it's a treat from one of our colleague to the whole group of us)

    More great food shots! You ni bes gila! have you ever considered moonlighting as a food photographer?

    Hey, go have a look at my escalator shot again but this time look at it upside down. I took it from the bottom inbetween 2 escalators then flipped the picture.

    As for the sculpture, it's my homage to my fellow Singaporean actor, my friend Karen. She hantar presents for me. Can you recognize the sculpture? If you do, then great! Karen herself didn't.

    Ed: I love to take food pix. Enjoy eating them up after that as well. Lots of kaki makan to go out to eat.

    Kaa: You should pop by Singapore / Malaysia and enjoy the real thing. My blog has not scratch and sniff like Ed says. haha..

    Santy: Maybe I should post Indo food? There is a Pengeran William dari Medan who told us about food only found in Medan. Oooo, salivating..

    Ed (again): Sadly, I stare at the screen whole day. Cold and hungry, but can't have lunch. Having cardio class in 45 mins. Workplace Cardio exercise. Wonder if today the instructor would be doing kick boxing. Need to exercise so I can go eat the whole weekend. *glutton look*

    Tauhu goreng! Oh yummy! I just came home and ta-powed a Maggi Goreng with tauhu!

    Yummy. I like the simple ways - like soy and fish shaving. Okra on top is good, too. Sometimes if it's really good tofu shop and very fresh, you only need just a bit of soy sauce. Yum.
